End of An Era

15th July 2011.

It will be this date where the final instalment of the Harry Potter movies will be released.

Hard to believe a decade ago, a boy was plucked from obscurity to play the world's most famous wizard of all.

Daniel Radcliffe is an English actor who has been playing the bispectacled Harry Potter, the boy who lived...

I am supposed to be doing work but I just can't help myself

Reading...

One of life's grander gifts...not today, not for me anyways.

Here I am in the office, reading and validating work for a Diploma subject, making sure it is grammartically correct and such... (ironic because I am slightly dyslexic)

To keep me going, I arm myself with coffee, snacks (Grain Waves, Sour Cream & Chives) and some chocolate (Hazelnut from Kokoblack)... but I get distracted.

My mind wonders and soon it stops at a cartoon that I loved as a kid - Macross.

Not the newer editions but the old school first series, 'The Super Dimension Fortress Macross'.

Wow man, it brings back the memories.

I used to have a toy fighter plane, VF-1 Valkyrie, where it could transform from a F-14 Tomcat into a Battleroid mode.

It was the best toy I ever had.... and I somehow lost it.

No matter how hard I try to remember, I never could find out where I misplaced it. Maybe it was stolen, maybe my mom gave it away....

I was gutted until 2 hours ago ...

My Creative Resume

It's been a while since I logged on and wrote my thoughts. It has been an extremely busy year 2010.

4 jobs and studying is never easy. Would definitely not recommend it.

Anyways, I read somewhere online how a creative resume can really capture the employers attention so I decided to give it a go.

F word: Fancy that?

Ads I've created in my free time 2

I created this ad because I saw something similar in an advertising book at Borders

I think it's pretty funny but the message is brought across.

Hope you like this

Rare Star Wars Pictures

It's funny how sometimes when you surf the internet and a pop up screen does actually have something worthwhile.

I saw this first picture and it looked like a weird family portrait until my eyes spotted a young Harrison Ford.

I then realised the tall Frankenstein was Peter Mayhew who plays Chewbacca.

There's also a young Mark Hamil, a carefree Carrie Fisher (she was so hot then, my first crush), a chilled out Kenny Baker ( R2D2 ) and I bet you don't know who that guy with the short tie and 'V' shades is....

His name is David Prowse who plays the Sith Lord, Darth Vader!

Isn't it ironic, the ultimate badass of the universe has a polka dot tie? haha

This is the original cast of Star Wars!

As the movie was released 25th May 1977 in the U.S., I'd presume this picture was most probably taken around Autumn?

Star Wars has to be my favourite movie of all time!

Boy daydream he's a hero.

Meets an old timer who still got the moves.

Mates with a gambler and a hairy non-English speaking sidekick.

Saves a girl who turns out to be a princess, scores himself a cool weapon and learns the way of the Force.

Whats not to like?

Funny Ads 3

Was surfing this morning and saw the work of a Malaysian artist Chow Hon Lam and thought I'd share this with you.

Clever and quite funny illustrations actually.

Haven't you ever wondered if Darth Vader ever goes to the bathroom?

F word? Fact: Obi- Wan only cuts off his arms and legs, so he's still part human....technically, of course.
